Hi! We’re Nicole and Brad Fortune — proud parents, passionate hosts, and long-time lovers of all things Bloomington.
Brad is an Indiana native and proud IU alumnus who grew up immersed in Hoosier traditions — from campus strolls and packed Assembly Hall to sinking the biz at Nick’s and catching live shows at the Bluebird. Our kids have heard all the stories: watching Bobby Knight pace the sidelines, cheering on IU basketball legends, and soaking in the campus pride that comes with being a true Hoosier.
Nicole, originally from California, was instantly drawn to Bloomington’s charm — its historic architecture, the buzz of Kirkwood Avenue, and the quiet, natural beauty of Dunn Woods. It didn’t take long for this town to feel like home.
Now, our twin daughters are preparing to carry on the IU legacy as students, and we’re watching our younger two create traditions of their own — like wandering through campus, counting squirrels in Dunn Woods, and somehow always ending up… walking to Mother Bear’s again.
